Our History | Celebrating Over 70 Years

In 1952, the business was established by the late Max Schubert as ME & WS Schubert Crash Repairs.

Graham Edwards worked for Max from 1964 until 1972, when he became a partner.

In 1984, Graham and his wife Maureen purchased the business and changed the name to Graham Edwards Crash Repairs (GECR).

After 35 years in the motor industry, Graham decided to retire, and in May 1999, Graham Edwards Crash Repairs was purchased by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Warren. Warren and Sharon are proud to service the Murray Lands with quality repairs and efficient towing.

Graham Edwards Crash Repairs is currently owned by Warren and Sharon Pratt. The Pratts are the third owners since the business’ establishment in 1952. Our family owned and run business is the longest running towing company in the Murray Lands. 

By 2022, Graham Edwards Crash Repairs will have had three owners spanning over 70 years – an achievement worth celebrating!
